Brief info
She is a Biotechnologist with a Ph. D. in biological sciences from the National University of Rosario. She has a background in bioactive natural products. She contributed to the development of the method to search for, evaluate, and select plant extracts with promising herbicidal activity. As a research fellow, she has visited the USDA-ARS-Natural Product Utilization Research Unit in the US and the Wageningen Plant Research station in Lelystad, the Netherlands. She leads the research and discovery process and works on the diversification to different applications of the natural ingredients. Additionally, she participates in mentoring of MS and Ph. D. Students.
